May TBR 2015

This is a super ambitious TBR because all of these are fairly hefty books.

1. Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood, and the Prison of Belief - Lawrence Wright

This was the only book I didn't finish from my April TBR, but I just have a few chapters left to finish up in May so it was a solid effort. (spoiler alert: I finished this bad boy May 1!)

2. The Casual Vacancy - J.K. Rowling                  3. Wolf Hall (Thomas Cromwell #1) - Hilary Mantel  

4. Far from the Madding Crowd - Thomas Hardy

These three have adaptations that either came out last month or are coming out in May.                    

5. The Genius of Dogs - Brian Hare & Vanessa Woods

I have a huge TBR pile of books my mom owns so I'm trying to read one a month from that stack.

6. The Secret History - Donna Tartt 

7. The Lies of Locke Lamora (Gentlemen Bastard #1) - Scott Lynch

These two fall into two book clubs on Goodreads that I am not technically a member of, but I check up to see what they are reading each month and if I have any of the books in my already-owned TBR pile, I try to read them. It's an easy way to get through my insane amount of books.

8. A Dance with Dragons (A Song of Ice & Fire #5) - George R.R. Martin

I will be completely caught up with the series once I've finished this book. My excitement about that can not be portrayed through a computer screen. ohmygoodness.
