It was exactly what I needed at the time. A fun, light read that followed four women's lives in Ireland couldn't have ended my month any better. The town they lived in was quaint and comforting and (most of) the inhabitants were kind, friendly people you imagine only exist in books like this. We followed each of these women through times of loss and turmoil, and it was rewarding to move forward in positive ways with each of them.
There may have been a character here or there who I didn't personally enjoy and the story lines may have jumped around a bit too much, but I got out of this book all I had wanted to, so I could push aside some of the more critical things I noticed.
This was a quick read that held comfort and happiness, and I'm really happy to have read it.
